Tiffany & Ronnie: Engagement Session in Mount Vernon Baltimore | Baltimore Photographers

Tiffany & Ronnie are a beautiful young couple, whose wedding I can't wait to shoot next year. They met in high school, and started dating a few years later. Things we're a little rocky in the beginning and they didn't quite work out (it wasn't their time yet). Fast forward to 2014, their paths aligned and they've been together ever since!

When I asked Tiffany how did Ronnie propose; this was her response:
"Ronnie proposed on his birthday April 9, 2016. I was totally blindsided, we had just got in from going to dinner for his birthday. I was still a little upset from earlier about a disagreement we had about the time we were leaving out for his birthday plans. So as we get back home and settle from being out all day, Ronnie says lets have a drink to celebrate another birthday. I really didn't want to have a drink, i just wanted to go to bed. Ronnie pours me a drink and starts to apologize about what happened earlier, he then gets on one knee tells me he loves me and asks me to marry him!!!"

They plan on incorporating jumping over the broom at their wedding ( which surprising, I haven't seen anyone do this in person yet). "Jumping the Broom" is a tradition in which the bride and groom, either at the ceremony or at the reception, signify their entrance into a new life and their creation of a new family by symbolically "sweeping away" their former single lives, former problems and concerns, and jumping over the broom to enter upon a new adventure as wife and husband.

I also asked Tiffany what advice could she give to new couples; this was her response: "The best advice I can give anyone is to have fun and enjoy life. Communicate about everything, and never go to bed angry with one another."

They were really fun and a pleasure to work with on this engagement session. I see a bright future for them. These are some of my favorite images from the shoot. Which is your favorite? Leave a comment below :-)
